About the Founder
My name is Chris Lee. I am an emergency nurse practitioner working in Alabama. I have been involved with critical care and emergency medicine for over a decade. I also have a background in computer programming and decided to mesh these major parts of my life together. This is what resulted. StatComm is a novel application that allows easier communication between EMS crews and hospitals.
Throughout the years, I have worked in numerous emergency departments – all of which use antiquated means of pre-hospital patient reporting. What if everyone could be notified of an incoming patient all at once, in real-time? With StatComm, this is now a possibility. No more answering a phone/radio call, transcribing patient information, notifying specialists, etc. With StatComm, everyone is connected in real time, freeing up hospital staff to care for their patients.
